Event of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the presentation of Greece’s candidacy for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for the 2025-26 term (Acropolis Museum, 26.04. 2023)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will host tomorrow, Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 19:30, an event at the Acropolis Museum (15, D. Areopagitou St.) to present Greece’s candidacy for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for the 2025-26 term.

The event will be addressed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias.

In addition, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta, Ian Borg, who will be in Athens on a working visit to our country, will also address the event. Malta is a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the 2023-2024 term.

Tomorrow’s event follows the relevant event held in New York on March 16, 2023, with the participation of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, who delivered the keynote speech.
