TYR Pro Swim Series: Tunisia’s Hafnaoui wins 3rd gold medal

Tunisian Olympic champion Ayoub Hafnaoui Saturday won the 800m freestyle at the 2023 TYR Pro Swim Series – Fort Lauderdale, clocking 7.48.50. The Tunisian swimmer dominated the race from start to finish ahead of Egypt’s Marwan El Kamash second (7.50.38), followed by British Daniel Jervis (3rd) (7.51.93). Hafnaoui won his 3rd gold medal after boasting the second-best performance of the season in 400m and beating his own 1500m record (15:00. 24) on Thursday.
