South African Sports Community Mourns the Loss of Papi Khomane

Johannesburg, South Africa – The South African sports world is mourning the loss of former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana star, Papi Khomane, who passed away in a tragic road accident. The Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Sports, Arts and Culture, Ms. Beauty Dlulane, expressed a deep sense of sadness over his passing.

According to Parliament of South Africa, Ms. Dlulane extended heartfelt condolences to the Khomane family, his friends, and the broader sporting community. The accident occurred as the country observed the launch of road safety month by the Minister of Transport.

The statement reported that Khomane and his mother tragically lost their lives while driving to KwaZulu-Natal last night. Ms. Dlulane expressed sorrow over this incident and extended wish of strength to the relatives and loved ones of Khomane during this difficult period of loss and grief.
