Provincial Organized Crime and Crime Intelligence Units executed another major arrest of a 42-year-old drug dealer in Capricorn District
The Provincial Organized Crime and Crime Intelligence Units have executed another major arrest of a 42-year-old male suspect believed to be a member of a drug syndicate operating in Mabokelele village, Moletjie under Seshego policing area .He was nabbed on Thursday 3 August 2023.
Police were informed about a group of male suspects who were allegedly selling drugs to the learners of the local schools in the area and immediately operationalized on the information.
During the disruptive operation, Police spotted one of the members belonging to a syndicate busy selling drugs at the street to a local High school learners.
Police suddenly pounced on the suspect and searched him. During the search, they found the suspect in possession of 9.82 Grams of 50 sachets containing Heroine drugs. The estimated street value of the drug is at R5000, 00 and the suspect was immediately arrested.
The Provincial Commissioner of Police in LImpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, applauded the Team for their commitment in ridding this Province of drugs.
He will appear before Seshego Magistrate court tomorrow on Friday, 04 August 2023 facing charges of dealing and possession of drugs.
Police investigations are continuing.
