Burkina: The 2023-2024 school year is effective in Kossi

National education stakeholders in Kossi received a visit from the High Commissioner, Dô Jacques Abel Sanou, on Monday October 2, 2023, on the occasion of the official launch of the 2023-2024 school year. Mr. Sanou encouraged the students during his visit to schools in the city of Nouna.

The provincial high school, the Charles Lwanga college, the Nouna Center B schools, Nouna Stade, the Cergyy school, the Bernard Rayssiguier school, the inclusive school, the Koussiri school were visited by the first official of the province, Do Jacques Abel Sanou.

This outing by Mr. Sanou to these establishments is part of the official launch of the 2023-2024 school year.

The High Commissioner was accompanied by the president of the special delegation from the commune of Nouna, Souleymane Tiono and a delegation from the provincial directorate of primary pre-school and non-formal education.

The provincial directorate of secondary education, headed by the directors, Adama Dao of the DPPN and Karfa Ferdinand Boni of the
directorate of secondary education were also there.

Speaking in the final year classes and third year classes at the provincial high school and Charles Lwanga College, the High Commissioner, Dô Jacques Abel Sanou, congratulated the highest authorities of the country for the results achieved during the past school year.

Mr. Sanou then wished a good 2023-2024 school year and a 100% success rate in the BEPC and Baccalaureate exams.

To teachers from different educational structures, he congratulated them for their resilience, their sacrifices for the cause of children.

The principal of the provincial high school Kalimou Koné, the new director of the Charles Lwanga Esaie College, Karim Ky and Zomou, Maka Ouattara, director of the Nouna Center B school thanked the authorities for their support.

Addressing the social partners, the High Commissioner urges them to play their role with full responsibility, through healthy and objective communication for noble and just causes.

Students and teachers expressed their
gratitude to the provincial authorities for their constant support in education.
