Mwinmalo Conrad Somé Takes Helm of Urban Mobility Directorate

OUAGADOUGOU – Mwinmalo Conrad Somé has officially assumed the role of General Director of Urban Mobility, a key position within the Ministry of Transport, Urban Mobility, and Road Safety. His installation was officiated by the Ministry’s Secretary General, Kiswendsida Alice Ouédraogo, marking a significant transition in leadership.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Somé’s appointment, decided during the council of ministers on March 13, 2024, signifies a new phase in the ministry’s efforts to enhance urban mobility across the nation. He steps into the role following Abel Sawadogo, who made notable progress with the mobility and urban development project for secondary cities, setting a foundational path for future advancements in urban transportation policies and initiatives.
