Addis Ababa – Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed met with Malta’s Foreign Minister Ian Borg to discuss strengthening the relationship between the two nations. The meeting, highlighted by Prime Minister Abiy’s warm welcome message on X, emphasized ongoing initiatives to enhance collaboration across multiple sectors.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, this engagement follows the successful launch of the 1st Ethiopia-Malta Business Forum on March 12, 2024, in Addis Ababa. The forum marked a significant step in advancing economic and trade relations, aiming to create more robust ties between Ethiopia and Malta.
