Somali Foreign Minister Farewells Outgoing Kenyan Ambassador

Mogadishu – H.E. Mr. Abshir Omar Jama, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, hosted a farewell event for the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya, Maj Gen (Rtd) Thomas Kipkosgei Chepkuto, in Mogadishu. The meeting marked the conclusion of Ambassador Chepkuto’s term in Somalia.

According to Somali National News Agency, During the event, Minister Abshir Jama expressed gratitude for Ambassador Chepkuto’s dedicated service and extended best wishes for his future endeavors. The farewell was attended by notable figures including the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Hamza Adan Haadoow, among other distinguished officials.
