Senegal: trade deficit down 13.46%

Senegal’s trade with the rest of the world decreased by 7.6% during the second quarter of 2023. This is what emerges from the monthly economic report from the Directorate of Forecasts and Economic Studies (DPEE). Trade there totaled $4.01 billion, compared to $4.34 billion in the previous quarter. Total imports of goods stood at $2.72 billion compared to nearly $3 billion in the previous quarter. Exports, for their part, reached $1.32 billion compared to $1.56 billion in the 1st quarter.
