Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias’ statement upon arrival at the Extraordinary EU Foreign Affairs Council (Brussels, 25.02.2022)

For Greece respect for International Law, for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all countries is the holy gospel of its foreign policy. And also we have an additional interest, an important Greek minority, mainly around the area of Mariupol, to which a special interest must be shown.

All Greek Diplomatic Representations are open in Ukraine, both in Kyiv and the Consulates in Odessa and in Mariupol. We are looking with full attention for the safety of our people.
