Home Affairs Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi and Limpopo Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba will continue to monitor Covid-19 vaccination for senior citizens aged 60 and above at Thabaleshoba Community Health Centre in the Waterberg District.

This visit comes as the Province incrementally activates vaccination sites in a bid to fast-track the phase 2 Covid-19 vaccination process.

All senior citizens aged 60 and above are encouraged to enrol for vaccines using the Electronic Vaccination Delivery System (EVDS), WhatsApp or SMS so that they can be vaccinated.

Minister Motsoaledi is a member of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Vaccines and is deployed to Limpopo.

The Department of Home Affairs will provide services to community members such as smart ID card applications and birth registration.

Everyone wanting to access services is requested to wear a mask correctly, sanitise their hands and observe social distancing.
