Kinetiko Energy Set to Drill Five Gas Wells in South Africa

Mpumalanga – Kinetiko Energy is gearing up for a significant drilling campaign in South Africa with plans to drill five gas wells starting February 2024. The government has greenlit the operations, which are poised to take place in the southern region of exploration perimeter 271 (ER271), situated in the province of Mpumalanga.

According to Africa News Agency, the company has enlisted Infill Drill for the drilling project near Volksrust, south of ER271. This initiative comes after recent governmental approvals, marking a substantial advancement in South Africa’s energy exploration efforts.
