Announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the evacuation of seven more people, Greeks and their family members, from Sudan – Latest Operation (25.04.2023)

Seven more people, Greeks and their family members, were evacuated from Sudan and arrived today (25.04.2023) on a Dutch aircraft in Aqaba, Jordan.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, extended his warm thanks to his Dutch counterpart, Wopke Hoekstra, for the assistance his country continues to provide in the efforts to evacuate Greeks and their families from Sudan.

The process and efforts for the evacuation of our compatriots and their family members from Sudan continue, always in close coordination with our partners in the EU and our allies.
