Monitoring of operations to secure the territory: the President of the Transition discusses with the units involved

The President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, discussed this Thursday morning at Camp Ouezzin-Coulibaly in Bobo-Dioulasso, with the command of the Kapidgou operations center and the Grouping of forces for the security of the west.

The President of the Transition went to the operations center to encourage the men engaged in the reconquest of the territory and to immerse himself in the operational coordination of the various forces on the ground.

“It is very important, when you have several units involved, above all to coordinate well and establish links in a position to be able to support and support them,” said Captain Ibrahim TRAORE.

The purpose of this visit is to “continue to follow wherever we are, what is happening on the ground for the positive evolution of the situation”.

The visit of the Head of State to the operations center is part of the ongoing operations to secure the national territory, plagued by terrorist attacks.
