Manhunt launched after a female police officer was shot and injured at a satellite station

A 35-year-old police constable was on duty at the Masilo Satellite Police Station when three unknown men wearing balaclavas, entered the premises on 07 June 2023 at about 01:30.

They started to fire shots towards the on-duty police officer, who sustained a gunshot wound in her stomach. She managed to return fire and the suspects fled. The member was taken to a hospital. A case of attempted murder has been registered for further investigation. Residents are requested to provide information regarding this incident.
