Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs, Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, meets with Vice-President of European Commission for Values and Transparency, Vera Jourova (Athens, 29.09.2022)

Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs, Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, expressed our country’s firm commitment to the defence of European values, transparency, media independence, and the Rule of Law during his meeting today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Vice- President of European Commission for Values and Transparency, Vera Jourova.

In particular, there was an exchange of views on the results of the Conference on the Future of Europe, the adaptation of legislation in view of the European elections, the European Media Freedom Act and more broadly on issues of the Rule of Law.
