Independence Day: ECOWAS congratulates Niger

ECOWAS on Thursday congratulated the Republic of Niger which is celebrating its 63rd year of access to independence, marking the end of French colonization.

As a reminder, Niger has been suspended from the organization’s bodies since the change of regime on July 26, 2023.
