Announcement regarding the evacuation of five additional Greeks from Sudan (24.04.2023)

Five additional Greeks from Sudan arrived in Djibouti a short while ago on an Italian military aircraft.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias has thanked his Italian counterpart, Antonio Tajani, for the assistance his country continues to provide in the efforts to evacuate Greeks and their family members from Sudan.

The process and actions for the evacuation of our compatriots and their families from this country continue, always in close coordination with our EU partners and allies.
