Nekemte Hosts Rally in Support of Ongoing Government Reforms

NEKEMTE – A significant demonstration took place today in Nekemte town within the East Wollega zone of the Oromia region, rallying support for the ongoing reform efforts by the Ethiopian government. The event was marked by the attendance of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Speaker of the House of Peoples’ Representatives Tagesse Chafo, Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh, and Oromia Regional President Shimelis Abdisa, among other high-level officials.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, the rally drew participants from four zonal administrations who congregated at the Nekemte stadium. The crowd expressed approval of the progress achieved in various sectors due to the reforms initiated over the past six years. They also reaffirmed their commitment to support the government’s endeavors towards achieving national prosperity.
