Fighting forces of the 2nd military region: the Head of State encourages the units at Camp Ouezzin-Coulibaly

After laying the first stone of the tomato processing factory, the President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, visited Camp Ouezzin yesterday afternoon -Coulibaly to encourage the different units.

Present in this 2nd military region, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE “congratulated and encouraged” the elements of the different units; he invited them to prepare morally and psychologically to face the harsh realities on the ground.

The President of the Transition reassured the elements of the units that the necessary equipment is being acquired to adapt to the terrain. “We will obtain good results for the Nation in this war,” maintains the Head of State who invited each unit to play its part.

On the occasion, Captain TRAORE collected the concerns of the military, paramilitaries, Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland and veterans. They boil down to the insufficiency of equipment and rolling stock for certain units, the reduced number of personnel and the autonomy of management for others.

The Head of State immediately gave elements of response to the concerns raised. He reassured that everything will be done to provide appropriate solutions to the concerns raised with a view to allowing combat units or units in training to better conduct their mission.
