Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding today’s explosion in Istanbul

As regards the explosion that took place in Istanbul earlier today, our Consulate General is in constant contact with local authorities.

According to the information available, there are no Greeks among the victims.

Greece unequivocally condemns terrorism and we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Turkish government and the Turkish people.
