Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the liberation of Kherson by Ukrainian forces

We welcome the liberation of the city of Kherson by the Ukrainian forces, a city with a Greek name, in which Eugenios Voulgaris and Nikiforos Theotokis served as Archbishops, in the late 18th century, successively.

Greece supports the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine, as well as of all states.
