SCOPA to Receive Updates from SAA, AGSA, and SIU

Cape Town – The Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA) is scheduled to convene tomorrow for a series of briefings from key entities, including the South African Airways (SAA), the Auditor General South Africa (AGSA), and the Special Investigating Unit (SIU). This session is aimed at receiving progress updates and briefings on various investigations.

According to Parliament of South Africa, the meeting is set for 21 November 2023, at Committee Room M46, located on the Ground Floor of the Marks Building in Parliament. The session is planned to run from 09:30 to 13:30. This gathering is a crucial part of SCOPA’s oversight role in ensuring accountability and transparency within public institutions and government bodies.
