OUAGADOUGOU — On Friday, the Burkinabè military successfully neutralized a group of terrorists in a targeted operation near Inata, Soum province, as reported by Agence d’Information du Burkina (AIB).

According to Burkina Information Agency, a band of terrorists made an unsuccessful attempt to approach a town in the Center-North region on November 3, 2023. Thwarted, the group retreated towards the northern regions. The military followed the terrorists using air reconnaissance and engaged them near Inata, leading to their neutralization through precise strikes. The military confirmed that operations are ongoing on several other fronts.
