Prime Minister Hamza inspects the Ministry of Defence

The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Hamza Abdi Barre went on an inspection visit to the Ministry of Defence. The Prime Minister had a meeting with the different directors and staff members of the Ministry of Defence and said that the Government is at war with the Al-Shabaab terrorists to liberate the areas they control and on the other hand, the Government is going to build the army so that they can take over from ATMIS in 2024. Prime Minister Hamza said that the Government and the people joined hands to fight the terrorist militants and liberate the country. The Prime Minister said that this country’s army fights to achieve victory and bring about peace to the Somali people. He added that the Government will solve the needs of the Somali National Army so that we get soldiers of good quality and with the ability to defend their country.
