FEDERAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS STRENGTHENING COOPERATION TO COMPLETE UNIFIED RECORDS AND SOCIAL LIBRARY

A consultative meeting opened today in Mogadishu, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia and the Ministries of Labor and Social Affairs of the State Governments of the country.

The consultation focused on the completion of a unified registry and the Rehabilitation Program database, as this Government-managed process helps to keep the information of the beneficiaries in one place in all ongoing projects that facilitates the coordination and effectiveness of projects, and the government. to serve its citizens effectively.

The Minister of National Planning, Jamal Mohamed Hassan, told the meeting that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, which represents the government in the process, needed to complete the social register and database.

The Ministers of Labor and Social Affairs of the states of Puntland, Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Jubbaland and the Deputy Minister of Southwest, jointly reaffirmed their commitment to complete the Social Information system and implement the Social Policy.
