NamPol Announces Promotions in Otjozondjupa Region


OTJIWARONGO — The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in the Otjozondjupa Region has promoted nearly 30 officers to higher ranks, including senior inspector, inspector, and warrant officer, as announced by Commissioner Heinrich Tjiveze during a Wednesday morning parade. This round of promotions, part of the 2023/2024 financial year’s second phase, aims to recognize the dedication and hard work of NamPol members stationed both at the regional headquarters in Otjiwarongo and various regional police stations.



According to The Namibia Press Agency, the promotions included 12 senior inspectors, 14 police inspectors, and three warrant officers, with a balance of gender representation among the promoted officers. Tjiveze congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged those awaiting promotion to remain hopeful and committed to ensuring the safety and security of the region’s inhabitants and their property.
