Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to visit Pristina (20 December 2022)

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will visit Pristina tomorrow, Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs will have a one-on-one meeting with the Kosovar Foreign Minister, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, followed by expanded talks.

Joint statements to the press are scheduled to take place following the expanded talks, at approximately 11:30 (Greek time).

Subsequently, the Kosovar Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, will host a lunch for the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Lastly, during his stay in Pristina, the Minister is expected to meet with members of the Greek KFOR contingent.

Discussions during the visit are expected to focus on Athens-Pristina cooperation in a wide range of areas, such as economy, energy, culture, and health, as well as on regional developments, including the European perspective of the Western Balkans, and developments regarding the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue.

It is noted that the Minister of Foreign Affairs visited Pristina in October 2020, June 2021, and June 2022, while the Kosovar Foreign Minister visited Athens in January 2022.
