Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lebanon, Abdallah Bou Habib (Athens, 11.11.2022)

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will hold a meeting in Athens tomorrow, Friday, 11 November 11, 2022, with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lebanon, Abdallah Bou Habib, in the context of the latter’s working visit to Greece.

The two Foreign Ministers will have a one-on-one meeting at approximately 12:00.

Expanded talks will then take place, followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the abolition of entry visas for holders of diplomatic and service passports as well as a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Diplomatic Education.
Afterwards, the two Foreign Ministers will make joint statements to the press at approximately 13:20, followed by a working lunch.

Talks between the Foreign Ministers are expected to focus, inter alia, on further advancing bilateral relations in a wide range of areas, on developments in the Eastern Mediterranean – including the recent conclusion of the Maritime Delimitation Agreement between Lebanon and Israel-, as well as on migration issues and EU-Lebanon relations.
