Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to attend the Meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs (Brussels, 07.04.2022)

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will travel to Brussels tomorrow, April 7, in order to participate in the NATO Spring Meeting of Foreign Ministers.

At the Foreign Ministers’ meeting first session (at 09:30 Brussels time), which will be also attended by the Foreign Ministers of Australia, Finland, Japan, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Sweden, and Ukraine, as well as EU HR/VP Josep Borrell, the implications of the Russian invasion of Ukraine will be examined, as well as the attempts, in general, by revisionist powers to undermine the international order.

At the second session, which will be attended only by the Foreign Ministers of NATO member states, there will be a discussion on the situation in Ukraine, measures in support of NATO’S partners, as well as on the future of NATO-Russia relations.

On the sidelines of the Meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs is expected to meet with his Canadian counterpart, Mélanie Joly.
