Prominent Academic and Pan-Africanist Uazuva Kaumbi Passes Away

Windhoek: Dr. Uazuva Kaumbi, a respected academic and Pan-Africanist, passed away on Thursday morning at the Roman Catholic Hospital in Windhoek. He was 60 years old.

According to The Namibian Press Agency, Joshua Kaumbi, a family member, confirmed to Nampa that Dr. Kaumbi was admitted to the hospital last week and passed away in the early hours of Thursday. Dr. Kaumbi’s death marks the loss of a significant figure in the academic and Pan-African community in Namibia.
