According to Kenya News Agency, the team captured an early advantage with a goal from Austin Othiambo but saw their lead equalized by John Kiplangat of Murang’a Seals before halftime. The second half was dominated by Gor Mahia with Benson Omalla scoring twice, once from a penalty and then again just minutes before the final whistle.
