Ethiopia’s Foreign Minister Farewells Mexican Ambassador

Addis Ababa: In a formal ceremony, Ethiopian Foreign Minister Taye Atske Selassie bid farewell to the outgoing Mexican Ambassador to Ethiopia, Victor Trevino. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Ambassador Trevino played a significant role in bolstering the ties between Mexico and Ethiopia.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, During his tenure, two political consultations were conducted, underscoring the strengthening relationship. Ambassador Trevino mentioned the upcoming 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations and the expected visit of the Mexican Foreign Minister to Addis Ababa. Both parties expressed their desire to continue enhancing their bilateral relations and collaboration in multilateral diplomatic platforms, emphasizing South-South cooperation.
