Ennahdha denies Chourou’s arrest

Ennahdha movement on Thursday night denied the arrest of leader Sadok Chourou.

Information on the arrest of Sadok Chourou are “false,” reads a statement issued on Thursday night.

The movement had previously announced on Thursday Chourou’s arrest by a security unit, without providing further details.

Top leaders of the movement, including Ali Laarayedh, Noureddine Bhiri and Habib Ellouz were arrested recently.
