New Airline Routes to Gaoua Anticipated in Burkina Faso

Ouagadougou – Kangala Air Express, a national private airline in Burkina Faso, is planning to initiate flights to Gaoua, located in the South-West of the country, using 70-seat ATR aircraft starting January 2024. This development aims to enhance regional connectivity and accessibility.

According to Burkina Information Agency, a successful test flight was conducted on December 2, 2023, with Minister Roland Somda on board. The Ministry also notes that additional test flights are scheduled for Diapaga, Fada, Dédougou, Dori, and Ouahigouya aerodromes in the near future, marking a significant expansion of domestic air travel in Burkina Faso.
