Burkina: The army destroys stocks of fuel and ammunition and neutralizes terrorist leaders
The Burkinabè army opened fire on a convoy of fuel and ammunition, transported by terrorists in the direction of Djibo, the AIB learned on Sunday from security sources.
Burkinabè intelligence has shadowed terrorists who were gradually accumulating important logistics for attacks in the province of Soum.
The entry into action of aerial vectors made it possible to identify a storage area under trees located 8 km northeast of Djibo.
Terrorists who came to the scene with weapons, ammunition and fuel were pulverized and their hiding place with it.
In Seytenga, the intelligence was able to locate about ten km from Sofikel, around thirty terrorist leaders who had come from Niger for a meeting.
Coming by various paths, they camouflaged their motorcycles under trees before finding themselves in a conclave.
They will be neutralized by strikes from the Burkinabè army.
The guards who tried to save the logistics suffered the same fate.
It should also be noted that the FDS and the VDP carried out other ground operations which made it possible to neutralize several enemies.
