Morocco to Host 2026 World Cup Qualifiers for Seven African Teams

OUAGADOUGOU — Seven African national teams, including Burkina Faso’s, will be playing their 2026 World Cup qualifying matches in Morocco, as per recent information made public by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the move comes as a part of the execution of partnership and cooperation agreements between the FRMF and several African football associations. The Kingdom of Morocco has agreed to host these selections’ qualifying games for the 2026 World Cup, facilitating the participation of these teams in the prestigious global event.
