MEDIA ADVISORY: NCOP CHIEF WHIP CONDUCTS SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OUTREACH IN MATJHABENG
The Chief Whip of the National Council of Provinces (NCOP), Mr Seiso Mohai, will tomorrow, Friday 29 September 2023 conduct a small business development outreach programme in Matjhabeng, Welkom.
The purpose of the outreach, to be held under the theme: ‘Promoting Small Business Development Opportunities for Sustainable Livelihood’ is to create a hive of activity and platform for sharing of information on small business development in the Welkom area – particularly for women, youth and previously marginalised communities.
The Minister of Small Business Development, Ms Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, the Minister of Social Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, Acting MEC for Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (Destea) in the Free State, MEC T Mokoena and the Mayors of MatjhabengLocal Municipality, Cllr Thanduxolo Khalipha and Lejweleputswa District Municipality, Cllr V Ntakumbana, are amongst the dignitaries that have confirmed attendance of the event. Representatives of other Departments and go
vernment entities are also expected to attend.
