The first cycle study certificate (BEPC) tests were launched this Thursday, June 1, 2023 in Sindou by the High Commissioner of the province, Mahamadi Congo, accompanied by a delegation composed of the first officials and heads of provincial services.

The province of Léraba has 12 secondary centers attached to 8 juries in 6 departments.

A total of 2,037 candidates, ie 975 girls and 1,062 boys, are in the running for the first secondary education diploma.

“This drop in the number of candidates is explained by the high success rate of candidates last year and the departure of some others from Banfora,” explained the provincial director of primary and secondary education (DPEPPS) of the Leraba, Mamadou Koné.
