Makhado Farm Burglary Sparks Manhunt for Suspects and Stolen Firearms

POLOKWANE – A substantial police manhunt has been activated in Makhado following a burglary at a farm located along Elim Road within the Makhado police jurisdiction. The crime took place in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 4, 2023.

According South Africa Police Service, he left his residence on Friday, November 3, around 13:00 to travel to Bela-Bela. He was later informed by his father on Saturday of a break-in at his property. Upon returning, he discovered that the perpetrators had forced entry through the front door, ransacked his home, and removed a small safe containing a pistol and ammunition. Additionally, four rifles were taken from the main safe in his bedroom, along with an undisclosed sum of money.

Local authorities responded to the incident, and a case of housebreaking has been registered for further investigation.
