Fire Destroys Home of Internally Displaced Family in Bogandé

Bogandé — An internally displaced family in Sector 2 of Bogandé, located near the private evangelical high school, suffered a devastating fire that consumed their home on Saturday afternoon, reported the AIB.

According to Burkina Information Agency, while there were no casualties or injuries reported, the fire resulted in substantial property loss. Among the possessions destroyed were two Aloba type motorcycles, as well as the family’s food supplies and clothing.

The cause of the fire remains unclear, but efforts by community members helped to quickly contain the blaze, preventing further damage and potentially averting injury.
