TABC, Business France sign partnership agreement to develop triangular cooperation

The Tunisia-africa Business Council (TABC) and Business France signed a new partnership agreement.

A strong tripartite cooperation involving Tunisia, France and Africa, and oriented mainly towards sub-Saharan Africa, is sought. This in addition to attracting French investors.

The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the French government agency which supports the international development of the French economy.

It is also geared towards supporting French companies operating in Tunisia, around 1,000, and Africa and organising joint missions and business events in Tunisia, France and Africa, the TABC said.

The signing ceremony was held on the sidelines of a seminar in Paris on the theme “Decarbonisation and Energy Transition between Tunisia and France.”

The Tunisia-Africa Business Council said a Tunisian-French event will be held as part of partnership with Business France on the sidelines of FITA 2023, the 6th edition of the international conference “Financing Investment and Trade in Africa.”

The TABC seeks to boost South-South cooperation, improve Tunisia’s positioning on the African market and table proposals to ease investment in the African continent.
