MEDIA ADVISORY: GOVERNANCE CABINET MINISTERS ANSWER QUESTIONS IN THE NCOP

The National Council of Provinces (NCOP) will during its hybrid plenary sitting at 2 pm, hold an oral question and answer session with the Cluster 3B – Governance Cabinet Ministers. The Cluster comprises of Minister in the Presidency: (Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities); Minister in the Presidency: (Governance) and Minister in the Presidency:(Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation).

Section 92 (2) of the Constitution stipulates that members of the cabinet are accountable collectively and individually to Parliament for the exercise of their powers and the performance of their functions.

Also scheduled, the House will meet at 08:30 to convene its programming committee meeting to consider the business of the NCOP.
