Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha officially opens Road D4253 in Ga-Masemola, 12 Oct

Premier of Limpopo Province, Honourable Chupu Stanley Mathabatha will officially open Road D4253 in Ga-Masemola, Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality on the 12 October 2021. Road D4253 is a 5,42 km access road that connects the people of Ga-Masemola to R33 in the Greater Sekhukhune District.

This event is part of the completion of the road D4253, which is amongst several roads that have recently been completed across the length and breadth of Limpopo Province. This road is constructed by Road Agency Limpopo (RAL), which is a state-owned entity under the Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure.

“The roads of the province remain one of the key service delivery hallmarks that the Provincial Government continues to achieve. Furthermore, it is the commitment of this government to accelerate the delivery roads and important infrastructure to the people of Limpopo especially in rural areas It is in that spirit that the work to continue building better roads infrastructure network and connect the people of Limpopo will continue unabated”, says Premier Mathabatha.

“Notwithstanding the evident backlog and related challenges, as the Provincial Government, tarring of roads remains high on our priority list. I would like to make a clarion call to our communities to safeguard this projects and refrain from burning tyres or damaging them so that we’re able to build more in other areas where needed. This road is meant to improve socio-economic development and better your lives”, added Premier.

The Premier will be joined by Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure MEC Namane Dickson Masemola, Sekhukhune District Executive Mayor Cllr Keamotseng Stanley Ramaila and Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality Mayor Cllr Minah Bahula. RAL as the province’s implementing entity for roads in the province will be part.
