MEDIA ADVISORY: NCOP CHIEF WHIP CONDUCTS YOUTH OUTREACH PROGRAMME

The Chief Whip of the National Council of Provinces, Mr Seiso Mohai, will host the Matjhabeng Parliamentary Outreach Programme for the Advancement of Youth Opportunities tomorrow in Welkom, Free State.

The theme of the outreach programme is “Promoting Economic Opportunities and Sustainable Livelihood for the Youth”.

Guests expected include Ministers, MECs and Heads of State Entities and Agencies. Their participation intends to create a platform to showcase business opportunities for young people by sharing the following information:

Youth entrepreneurial opportunities and training opportunities.

Skills development opportunities.

Business financing offered by government financing institutions.

Motivating the youth to be involved in entrepreneurship and being job creators.

Economic opportunities in the Matjhabeng region; and

Having stakeholders at the expo to contextualize economic opportunities for the youth in various economic sectors.
