WINDHOEK: The Hardap Region is reeling from two separate murder incidents that claimed the lives of two men. Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi of the Namibian Police Force reported the incidents in Rehoboth and Maltahöhe.
According to The Namibia Press Agency, In Rehoboth, a 25-year-old man named Sensenzo Witbeen was fatally stabbed in the face by an unknown assailant. The attack occurred in Block E early Thursday morning, with Witbeen succumbing to his injuries en route to the hospital. No arrests have been made yet. Meanwhile, in Maltahöhe, a 36-year-old man was stabbed to death in the chest following an argument at a shebeen. The suspect in this case has been arrested. Investigations into both incidents are ongoing, with police efforts focused on apprehending the Rehoboth suspect and informing the next of kin in the Maltahöhe case.
