ISLAMABAD: Twelve terrorists were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations in Pakistan, the military announced late Wednesday. These operations were executed by security forces in the southwest Balochistan province and northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army.

According to Namibia Press Agency, during the operation in Kech district of Balochistan, an intense exchange of fire occurred between security forces and terrorists, resulting in the death of four terrorists, including a high-value target. In another operation, eight terrorists were killed, and six others were injured when security forces effectively targeted their location in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The military stated that clearance operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining terrorist threats in these areas.
