FM meets in Cairo with his Libyan, Emirati and Yemeni counterparts

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, met on Wednesday in Cairo, on the sidelines of his participation in the meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers, with his Libyan, Emirati and Yemeni counterparts.

During his meeting with his Libyan counterpart Najla Mangoush, the minister enquired about the latest developments in Libya.

Quoted in a statement by the Department of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers expressed a common will to improve bilateral relations and to prepare well for upcoming bilateral events.

Relations between Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates were on the agenda of the meeting between Nabil Ammar and his Emirati counterpart, Khalifa Shaheen al Marar.

The two ministers stressed the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation at the economic and commercial levels in order to accelerate the implementation of investment projects in Tunisia.

On the other hand, the meeting between the Tunisian FM and his Yemeni counterpart Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak, was devoted to the examination of the developments of the situation in Yemen and the Arab and UN efforts undertaken to extend the truce there.
