MOGADISHU, Somalia – The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe), has departed for Washington DC, United States of America.

According to News Releases by Somali National News Agency, Speaker Madobe and his delegation were officially invited by officials of the US Congress. The talks will focus on the development of the Somali Parliament and fostering cooperation between the legislative bodies of Somalia and the United States.
