According to Somali National News Agency, the meeting focused on presenting Somalia’s comprehensive plan regarding the COP28 conference and the nation’s strategies to address the challenges of global climate change, particularly those affecting Somalia. Prime Minister Hamza emphasized the direct impact of climate change on the lives of Somali citizens, particularly in environmental changes observed over the past three decades. The conference is seen as a vital platform for Somalia to discuss and seek solutions to these pressing climatic issues.
